I've always wanted an excuse to use that word. Now I have it. I finally ordered a new camera, because no matter how nice, a permanent vintage filter is a bit annoying, which arrived today. This, coupled with getting some rather nice results on my recent standardized test, made it a very nice day. In order to celebrate I returned to dA! Mostly because I can actually submit something besides literature now. (As nice as literature is, I've had writers block since Christmas. *sigh*) Anyway~ Going through the things I did during the break, and I'll possibly be submitting soon. (Maybe tomorrow. Tonight I must memorize a period of US History)

So other than having a dead battery, my camera works~ My gratitude can never be expressed enough. Also, my tablet works (the giant phone, not the wacom) For the first time in months xD That's it really...oh! Dad purchased (by my request) the DmC. So now I shall face/deface my demons~!

Well, as close as I can get to doing so. -_- I dropped my camera. Not in a funny way, like onto a fluffy bed full of safeness, but into a freezing lake of doom. I got it back, of course, but it...isn't okay. I'll try getting it to work, but I'm not sure if that can happen. Thanks to !Sinyaerinpyburn (https://www.deviantart.com/sinyaerinpyburn) for digging around in the cold water to get it, since her sister is not a cold person. :| I probably won't be taking any pictures for a while. I'll leave you with a steady stream of old photos in the time that I have no camera....I guess. >.>
